Happy Heinys Pocket Cloth Diaper Details

Happy Heinys pocket diapers come in several different styles. Pocket diapers with Aplix brand velcro tabs or you can also have optional snaps added to the tabs for "extra security". Once your baby gets a little older, they may try to pull the velcro tabs open so we've added the optional snaps to combat the issue.

Happy Heinys pocket diapers also come in a one size fits all style. You can choose from the Aplix tabbed One Size Diaper or the Snap tabbed One Size Diaper. The snaps version is their newest release and quickly becoming a favorite.

Happy Hempys Fitted Cloth Diapers are made of two luscious layers of Hemp Fleece, which is a combination of 55% hemp 45% cotton. You can choose an optional layer of custom-milled microfleece on the inside to keep baby feeling dry. Happy Hempys have been pre-washed to remove oily build up and to help prevent shrinkage, although they may shrink a small amount with successive washings.

Happy Hempys have elastic at the legs and back to allow for a snug yet comfortable fit. They are made with Aplix brand hook and loop closures which fit a wide range of babies and make for very fast diaper changes on wiggly little ones. The big benefit of Happy Hempys is that you decide what to stuff them with and how much stuffing your baby needs. Inserts are sold separately.

Happy Hempys are fitted diapers and do need to be used with a diaper cover. For night time use, fleece covers and wool covers are wonderful, as they allow baby's skin to breathe all night. The Happy Hempy without microfleece is an all natural cloth diaper.

Heiny Huggers Sherpa Fitted Diaper

These are Happy Heinys Brand New Sherpa Heiny Hugger Fitted diapers. They are made of 2 layers of very absorbent Sherpa and 3 layers of very absorbent Terry for maximum protection yet they are still quite trim. They are available in natural only. The sherpa is 90% cotton and 10% polyester. The testing has proven to be nothing but positive. Inserts are sold separately

Happy Heinys stuffins™ are uniquely designed to fit Happy Heinys Pocket Diapers and Happy Hempy Fitted Diapers. They feature a pocket design that allows you to add extra absorbency, called Happy Heinys Extra Oval Hemp Inserts, where your baby needs it without increasing the bulk of your pocket diaper.

For boys, place the oval all the way to the front of the Stuffin™. For girls, place the oval in the center. Will the insert slip if only placed in half way? No - the small oval insert will stay in place.

When used with the oval insert you will have 7 layers of hemp fleece in the desired wet zone for your child. You can use as many ovals as you need in the pocket for added protection in the wet zone without increasing bulk through out the diaper. Stuffins™ may shrink 1/2-1 inch after full priming. The more you wash these Stuffins, the better they get!!

In Happy Heinys never-ending quest to provide your little one with the very best diaper covers, They are offering this beautiful 100% wool cover. It really is as soft as a T-shirt and offers great protection. This cover was rigorously tested by a group of moms and their little ones with great success! They tested on babies of all sizes and ages. They were pleased to hear moms tell that they were "beautifully made and So Soft!" They all agreed that the fabric makes a very gentle diaper cover that gets the job done.

Wash Instruction

Wash and dry just as you do your cloth diapers. These do not need repeated pre-washing: once will do.

How to Wash Cloth Diapers: We recommend a cold pre-wash/wash or rinse first, then a hot wash (140 degrees Fahrenheit) Do not boil your diapers as this can ruin the elastic. Use a small amount of laundry detergent each time (too much detergent can create a residue). Use vinegar occasionally in the rinse to help keep the diapers soft. And please, no fabric softener or treatments of any kind. These can ruin a diaper's absorbency.

Drying Cloth Diapers: It may not be realistic every time, but the more you can dry your diapers on low or medium the longer their life will be.

Because your training pants are multiple layers thick, it is important to wash them inside out so they get thouroughly cleaned. This will also help them dry faster.

Pull-On Undies need to be turned inside out while being washed and dried. Wash on warm or hot with your choice of detergent. Tumble Dry. Super Undies Nighttime Underwear may be washed with other clothes provided they are not soiled ,and may require a pre-rinse.

Super Undies Nighttime Undies

　

What are Super Undies Nighttime Underwear? Nighttime underwear are waterproof bed wetting pants designed to help your child wake up with dry sheets. They come with 9 layers of cotton absorbency built in, and fleece covered elastic legs and waist for a comfortable, and more leak resistant fit.

Who are they for? Nighttime underwear are for children who wet the bed ages 2-7 yrs old. Larger sizes are being developed!

What do they offer me? A useful tool in hepling you regain control of your laundry load, and regain some dignity for your child.

What if your child is a heavy wetter or deep sleeper? These Nighttime Underwear can usually handle most levels of wetters, although they may require additional absorbency, or to be changed once through the night. You can use one of our Step-up inserts, a diaper insert that you may already have, a wash rag folded in half or thirds, whatever it takes to add more absorbency in there. Some children can pee 16 oz at a time! Fill up a glass and take a look, that's a lot!

　

　

　

On occasion it may be necessary to also use a partial waterproof mattress pad. Since the Nighttime Underwear can contain most all of the wet, small leaks can be barricaded by using a 1/3 size mattress pad, still reducing your laundry load considerably.

Super Undies Step-up inserts fit perfectly and can help boost absorption if you have a much older child or find that heavy urination will not subside with additional controls.If you plan on using more than 1-2 step-up inserts, you may wish to increase the size above the suggested one in size chart section.
